p.1 #1 · GBH and big moon

No retinal-scan-quality detail in this Great Blue Heron, I'm afraid, but it was a nice scene...

EDIT: Cropped a bit in response to suggestions, and darkened it a bit (just dialed down the exposure in LR). I like the result better; thanks for the guidance. Comments? Did I go in the right direction?

I'd prefer it a bit darker and maybe a bit off the bottom

Thanks for the comment -- this is more or less straight out of the camera and I can see it could use a bit of creative tweaking.
