p.1 #1 · Think Tank photo belts

I am considering getting a Think Tank photo belt to carry some equipment when I a shooting sports. I usually have 2 bodies 1 with a 300 or 400 f2.8 on it (depending on sport) and the second with a 70-200 on it. I want to carry a 24-70 and or 16-35 for some wide stuff and also possibly a 135f2 for night games. A convenient and quick access place for memory cards would be a plus too.
There are 4 types of belts for the modular system with TT and I am wondering if anyone could give some feedback on the likes and dislikes of any of them. I really do not see that much of a difference between them but realize there must be.
I would also love to hear other options from TT if anyone has any.I spend allot of time getting up and down from kneeling too.
Thx

I like the Pro Modulus - Padded well not too wide like a back brace....
Can be used with the racing harness which is the shoulder/suspender setup if weight becomes an issue.

The speed changer is a good bag to keep cards, blowers, other small items.
Each lense mentioned has a TT bag that can be used for it.

The bags can be locked down on the belt or setup so that they can revolve around the belt as well. This also helps the kneeling requirement mentioned as they bags can be moved around to keep them from being in the way.

I do not have any of the newer "Skin" , less or non padded bags so no opinuons can be offered there.

OP, what do you mean by photo belt - the ones with the bag that is part of the belt? Or the modular belts that carry different assorted bags in various positions?

The latter of the two, the modular belts. TT has 4 different ones. I have never used any type of system like this and am trying to get some insight to if they are feasible for sports, allot of walking and getting up and down continuously.
Thanks

Have you looked into Kinesis? I really like their belts, and the flexibility!

The Pro Modulus is fabulous. It's the only one of the TT belts I've tried, but I can't imagine anything better or more applicable for my needs.

I shoot sports, and here's my TT belt setup:

1. Steriod Speed Belt with the Pixel Racing Harness
2. Speed Changer Bag
3. Lightining Fast bag for my 580 EX
4. Lens Changer 35 (for my 28-135 IS)
5. Lens Changer 75 (for my 100-400 or 70-200)

So far it's working out great. I never tried any other TT belts so I cannot comment about how it compares to the others.

If you're not sure about something or have questions, send TT an email, they're great about responding.
