p.1 #1 · post your ring flash pics please

I am thinking of getting a ring flash and am wondering will I use it enough or would it be a waste of money.

So if you could post some sample ring flash pics that would be great. I cant find any good examples online anywhere other than ones from home made ring flashes. I want to see ral ring flash pics.

Thanks

I just picked up an ABR with a 56'' moon and a few front panels. So far I'm not impressed with the build quality at all. I doubt I'll keep it.

Yeah, but for the same price I'd prefer a 1600 for the versatility. You're stuck with an octa with no chance for a strip or grids or anything. I'll dump mine once I've played around a bit. I also had to wrap the inside with foam, it's just begging to scratch my 85L. Plus, I don't like how it sits on a tripod, light stand, or boom. Way too much torque going on.

when you get ready to let it go for a reasonable price, PM me. I have one and love it for studio and on camera outdoor work.

I have one also and love it. The bg outdoors is just amazing when using it on a cloudy day. A nice light to have around, it also works well when using green or blue screen.

I just got a ringflash, did some shots for clothing at our boutique using one of my sales girls, most were natural light or my octodome, but I busted out the ringflash for one trial against this garage door.
