This has been around for a while ... I think I've first seen it about three years ago.

Given the relatively low price, I'd assume that the quality of this lens isn't all that great. For stationary subjects, you can just use a regular lens, and take two pictures, going a step to the side for the second one. Actually, you can control the amount of 3D-effect by how much you go to the side: If you just move the distance between your eyes, you'll get a very natural 3D-effect. If you move more than that, you get a more pronounced 3D-effect, making it look like you have a miniature model of the landscape sitting right in front of you.

This is very fun stuff, you should try it sometime!

Thanks Rainer for the reply
Yes it does look a little cheaply made I think I read it is a F/11 lens sound pretty crappy to me for 300.00 US
I have been doing 3D stuff for a few years now with one camera and having fun with it.
Here is my site with a few on it
You need the red/green glasses to see them

Very cool, George! Now I have to get myself some red/green glasses to view those.

I'm shooting slide film, so I can look at my 3D pictures with two slide viewers. And a friend of mine even went a step further, with a dual slide projector, and polarizers, to give you that IMAX experience.
