p.1 #1 · Moloa'a Bay, Kauai

Was on the beach cleaning up a fishermans net(s) that washed up. This beach blew me away...and I live here. Cant wait to go back during some appropriate light. These are postcardish, but always up for some c/c. Thanks for looking!!

Sorry about the smallish size...800 is too big for verts and resizing all would have taken some time. There are more here that also have more b/w versions...i always have a hard time deciding! www.flickr.com/photos/afeinbergphotographydotcom (silly personal site issues):-P

I wouldn't mind living here...they all look good. The second is cool.

Nice work.

CC just my opinion...

1. - horizon is not level and appears rather severely distorted.
2. - cool but I might add some contrast to the rock frame.
3. - horzon may be alittle too centred, but looks pretty good to me.
4. - again a bendy horizon - you can fix this in PS...
5. - I might add more contrast, but this is my taste.

Looks a beautiful place and I would like to go there!
The colours are really nice.

Hey Aaron,

Man, what cool stuff! I can't believe you just found this beach You better go take advantage of this beauty! My favorites are #2 and 3, though I agree, the horizon is more centered then I would like.

And yeah, the Lens Correction filter on the Distort menu is your friend...

Thanks a lot Simon for the detailed response. I get lazy using the lens correction b/c I use aperture which then requires me to export to PS and blah blah. Cant wait to get the 24-70 for my 1ds so I can stop using the 17-85.

Dave and Jim, thanks as usual :-) One of these days I'll test to see if you're paying attention i'll post something to let you really rip into ;-)

Neat set, aF! The 2nd would be fun to spend some time at!
I kinda agree about the horizon issues, but the colors, especially in the 1st, 3rd and 4th, are the stars of the show!
