I had a most awesome morning at the Japanese Gardens here in Portland 10 days ago. The following day, it started to rain and has not stopped being grey, misty or rainy since then. I have posted the first one here before, the rest are ones I have not posted.

1) The Glow (She's Got It)

All photos were with Canon 20D and either Sigma 10 - 20mm or Canon 17 - 40mm f/4L lenses. Most with Circular polarizer. Some images use the Photomatix Tone Mapping effect on a layer. A very useful plug-in when used in small doses.

They're all exceptional. Incredible color and detail. It's hard to pick favorites with these, but I really love 3 & 6.

Those are fall color leafs that have fallen into the pond. There are a handful of Koi fish swimming around but they were so slow that they don't show up very clearly compared to the vividly colored leafs...
