Number of keepers (when used with older 10D) increased dramatically when stopped down. I need to determine if this lens / 40D combo needs Canon calibration versus user error at f/2.8. 300 f/4 is perfect wide-open on 10D and 40D so I probably need to send the lens to Canon.
First soccer shot in my fave, just would like to see it a bit tighter. I usually like warm shots, but these are showing a little too warm with a green tint on my monitor.
