This was taken up at Keys View in Joshua Tree National Park back in July 2006. Been getting ready for an art show here and decided to print and frame it for the show. The haze is actually smoke that blew into the park when the fires were burning two years ago. Sometimes it pays to go back and look at old shoots again.
Great to see more of Keys view.. I was captivated by the little tree when i was shooting there.
I find the emphasis of the rocks in the foreground just a little bit too much for me .. they seem to unbalance the composition...I looked at your website and particularly liked your sky studies, beautiful ..this one just seems to be the weakest of the set for me. but it is all down to personal taste.. and its always good to put a variety of images up.
