If you want to start a whole thread on this topic, I've recieved the same treatment from a Blue heron, Cedar Waxwing, Northern Harrier, and a Red-tailed hawk. The Cedar Waxwing's poop looked like red jello, in case anyone is interested....
Actually, birds relieve themselves at an astounding speed. The closer to the excrement gets to light speed, the more elongated it becomes. So, you can see from the picture, it was really moving. Only the equipment designed and used by NASA would have frozen this action.
