Well you wouldn't believe it, more wind than I could shake a stick at last week, then this assignment comes along and it drops off completely, for 5 days!
Needed two helpers for this shot, one to skillfully keep it up, and one to carefully time the launch to even get it airborne in the first place on the gentlest of breezes!
Hi Susan
Great shot. Know how your feeling London has been windless. Have got a 2m parafoil and couldnt get it to fly at all. Looks like your helpers did well
Take care

Even with your description of “lack” of wind this is the perfect example of “plenty” of wind! You’ve managed to create a very nice picture Susan…
Thanks, I'm lucky to have a beginners kite, it will fly in fairly light wind conditions, though it was still pretty tricky!

Hi Mark,
Yep they did well, it was all a bit rushed because it would rise and then fall so suddenly. Of course after putting the kite away the breeze picked up more!

I like this shot. Usually I prefer tighter crops, but I think the wider crop helps convey wind movement better. Great color.
Good luck,
Chad
I know what you mean, I had some much tighter shots which showed the kite really clearly, but the idea of space and movement was absent. Thanks for the comments!
