hey folks, i have my eye on the 1D MK3 and im thinking about leasing. does anyone know whats required in order to lease a camera? just curious if anyone has dealt with it before. any info would be great, thanks.
If your business is generating enough revenue, it could work. There are tax benefits to leasing but you pay top dollar for leasing. I remember leasing a 645Pro kit many years ago through Advanta. Why not buy a used body and save a bundle?
If you're a pro with a good credit rating any pro-oriented retailer should be able to assist you. For non-pros, options are quite limited.

Leasing is a bad option in nearly every instance one could imagine, whether a car or a camera. And the "tax benefit" option that is frequently thrown around is not accurate, either. I'm no tax expert or financial advisor, so if you don't belive me, give Dave Ramsey a call and ask what he thinks.
