So I took this picture, and after I uploaded them, my fiance was going through the pictures and commented on this one. I said I wasn't happy with it, because the feathers were blown out, but she says it is just the way the feathers are. Any opinion you might have, would be greatly appreciated (don't worry, she doesn't read these ). Thanks in advance, and I am looking to get more into wildlife photos, as you people are always such an inspiration for me. Kyle
They aren't blown out, as you still have details in the highlights. I see you have CS3, so you can easily chech any blown out areas of your images and recover some details using that program.

Thanks Shasoc, I wish I had taken this is RAW, and I think due to my sensor in my camera starting to go out (more and more pics are REALLY bright, or REALLY dark) I am not shooting in nothing but RAW, well, RAW+jpg, but yeah.
This may just be a stretch, I have just done something that may be similar so here is my 2 cents. Perhaps a polarizer, a lot of what you may think is blown out is just reflection? Not sure if I am right on this, it is only a thought I have on why I just missed some recent shots.
