I really screwed up. I was shooting some medical trainers at a football game and took a couple shots that were a several stops underexposed before I noticed. I changed the camera and shot more with the proper settings. Naturally, the best shot of the series was one of the underexposed photos. To add insult - I was shooting JPEG instead of RAW. :worried:
I've tried, but I've ended up with a greenish cast that I can't get rid of without making magenta areas of the print too saturated. I know I'll never get the dynamic range back and end up with a proper shot, but I'd like to get closer to reality than I did on my own.
Is there a good way to salvage this shot? What tricks do you guys and gals use? I've got CS2 and LR and NNinja.
Wilcy,
in my opinion your attempt at correcting it is not bad at all. Here is my attempt.Do not forget about DPP alot of good editing can be done in this program.I adjusted curves, sharpened a bit and then sent it to Photoshop elements used a NIK color cast plug in that i got from my Epson printer and then i used neat image to get rid of some of the noise( overdone a bit, but without a larger file the best i could do)
