p.1 #1 · Could this Power My ABR800

Stupid question...Just saw this on one of those techie blogs (Gizwhatever). Could something like this run my alien bees ringlight for a short period of time?

Neat looking thingie! Can't imagine why it wouldn't work for lighting. Says it'll run a TV or a notebook computer, so I'd think it would be clean enough.

Edit: Just downloaded the tech specs. Says it will supply 80W continuous / 160W surge. Check your power consumption numbers & see if that will work.

Paul Buff (Alien Bees / White Lightning) Vagabond power packs use true sine wave inverters, the Duracell units use the much-cheaper modified sine wave inverters - same type of inverter you find all over the place. (gotta search online to find true sine wave inverters) There's probably a reason Buff uses inverters that cost four times as much as modified sine wave units.
