Wow, this is cool. I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at, but the abstraction works in its favor. Beautiful color and light ~ soothing and dream-like.
Great entry. I like to see some different ones other than the flux of staged/still lifes (although certainly many of those are lovely)!
Carolyn & Philly,
Thanks. It really is a Willow tree...lots of detail lost @ 640 pixels. I've been reading and trying to obsorb Michael Orton's book, "Creative Landscape Photography" it's changed my life
I haven't shot a thing I can recognize in weeks....
This is a very interesting image that I really like. Thank you for sharing your inspiration of Michael’s book, it sounds like an excellent read. Is it my imagination or can I see a horses head.
Like a samll section of a Monet painting blown up. Very nice colors. Where are the striation lines coming from? Almost as though you were shooting through a chainlink fence but only the Right to Left verticle lines showed up.
Very creative and beautiful work.
Saw some of your earlier post on the other forms in the last couple of weeks and loved them. You have taken it beyond the relm of photography. Wonderful image. The Impressionists would be proud. Good Luck
