Nikon today published their plans to introduce the long rumored D70 next spring. A new DX zoom Nikkor is under development too. Nikon says it developed the D70 to respond to the strong demand for D-SLR cameras. The D70 aims at novices as well as experienced enthusiasts. Expected pricing of the body about 1000$-1100 EUR. Nikon today was not prepared disclose further details and technical spefications yet. Read the press release at Nikon.
