I am shooting my daughter in her halloween costume and I feel something strange. The 4 way controller on my D1X just fell off. I didn't do anything.
Now it looks like a pretty simple fix. The problem is I have shoots in November, and I would really rather not have to use the D100 while the D1X is in the shop.
Can you just order the part and have a local Nikon aurhorized guy do it?
And is this going to be one of those $2 part $250 repairs?
