p.1 #1 · More trains? For Jacko

Well with all the trains posted here I just couldn't pass these up. I actually drove by them on accident in French Lick, IN. Saw them and then couldn't pass up posting them up here for Jacko. So enjoy!

I believe I'd be perfectly happy living in a caboose... that thing looks FUN!

They do look very cool, but this one wasn't very large. I could barely stand up in it. I am tall at about 6' 4", but it would make for a cramped living space. Now, if you were about 5 though!

This looks like narrow gauge stuff. It's a shame these things have to sit and rot away like this. The station looks like a pretty interesting building too. Thanks for posting!

Looks like it already has a nice front porch, reading window, & sun roof. Just hitch a flatcar behind it with hot tub and you got it made!

The building was very interesting. They did have a train ride from this station to a surrounding city, but it was only a short train ride. I don't believe any of these engines were used. I did take some pictures of the inside of the station and it was a very interesting place. Which the other pictures would have turned out better, but I was there in the middle of a cloud covered day. Maybe some other time I will be able to take some better pictures.

For those that don't know. Larry Bird was born and raised in French Lick, there also was many years ago in the 20s a very nice resort and hotel as well as some springs in the surrounding city that were for the very rich of this country. Now they are going to be casinos. How times change.
