Has anyone tried the Quadra heads in the big EL Octa yet?
If so, does it still give the same within 1/10 stop evenness at the difuser face, or (as I've presumed) does the adaptor ring holding the head/tube in a recessed postion muck up the light bounce angles?
I tried it, but did not do any measurements. The Quadra flash tube-with adapter- is only marginally more recessed than on a standard head.
You'd have to take a close look to see the difference. I don't think it will be a issue.
