First of all, WOW! Some of the photos I've seen on here are amazing. I'm an outdoorsman at heart and Im just getting into this photography stuff. I would love to learn more and I hope Ive found the right spot. Im currently just shooting with an older Canon Rebel. Im looking to upgrade either to the D90 or D300. Which would you suggest, most of my filming will be done on wildlife and nature?
Im almost ashamed to put a couple of my pics on here (compared to most), but Im proud of them so I thought I would share.
Any tips for someone just getting into this? Thanks
Welcome to FM, Monte! Nice 1st post...love sunset sillywets You may post larger here.
The D90's great at high ISOs and the Nikon 70-300 VR on it would blow your mind.
If you're into birds in flight the D300 AF/fps are preferred. Nice place to start if you're headed to the "darkside".
Take a look at KirkB's threads to see what gorgeous work can be done with the latter combo.
