I don't even know how this would work, but I live in a small town and we have no camera shop that has anything digital..

Would someone be willing to rent me their D90? I have no idea how the details would all work, but just checking...

Or if someone has an extra body they are debating selling for a great price to an elementary teacher with a two year old and a stay at home mom for a wife

I dont have any I wish I did...but I think places like Calumet will rent out stuff to you through the mail.

Buy a used D80 on eBay, do your project, immediately resell it. I've done that several times with 500mm lenses.
