Like the others said, the leading lines work fantastically here. However, the tonality range seems a little dull in the image, and I have a difficult time differentiating between the handrails and the foreground.

Alan,
I thought the Humber was a river/estuary. I don't see no stinkin' water! .
To level with you- yes, the leading lines lead me to think the photograph mayhaps be tilted a bit too far to the left- but then, I've been off-kilter myself for the past few days .

I'm very taken with the way you used the (presumably superwide) lens here to emphasize the dramatic, sweeping curve leading to the surprising angles in the building.
Once again, you have a great sky to play with too. Sheesh.
thanks, Alan. is the 17-40 on a full-frame camera?? do you actually shoot all of your city and landscapes with this lens? I'm looking for new lens for my Nikon 700D.
regards, tom
