Yes, we finally have some fine autumn weather here in Luxembourg. And as usual in such a situation, I don't get the time I'd like to make pictures. Still, I managed to do some this weekend. I hope you like them.
Nice work Carlo . Like you I have become a bit impatient for the colour changes , but things are still a bit on the slow side . A good series ; my favorite is image # 5 since it conveys the atmospheric feel and slight chill of an early autumnal morning . I look forward to the full colour versions of these scenes
Lovely set of images, Carlo! Looks like you've got some nice color still to come, too.
Over here, in the South anyway, it's barely started. Hope you guys hold off the real color bloom for a couple weeks
2nd, 3rd and 5th are my favorites. Beautiful imagery.

Some lovely light in all of these. I especially like the beech walk for its graceful composition of graceful shapes, and the atmosphere of the foggy morning hedge.

#4,5 and 6 are my favorites of these. I like the composition in #4, but it's got a pretty heavy yellow cast to the shot. #5 is like a painting.... awesome!

I fear the leafs will be "gone with the wind" before we'll be able to get enough opportunities for pictures

Wonderful set of image Carlo! Looks like the wait for fall color has paid dividends. Randy
Thanks, Randy. Well, the wait was long enough ...

You have more colour than we have! I particular like the second one with the long path that is so inviting. Lovely set. Ute
Danke, Ute! I'm curious what it will be like in a few weeks in the UK. And when you happen to come to Luxembourg, we can have a walk along that path.

Thank you, Barry! As Ute already said, despite the relative geographical proximity, the UK has still different weather and Scotland is special anyway
I'm looking forward to our trip there!

Don't tell anyone, but the hedge shot is my favourite too

Super shots Carlo - they got better and better
#3 is a beauty!
Thanks, David. I don't have to always go to Scotland to get good pictures, these are all not far from my home.

Thanks, Jim! Glad you like them. I'll work on that yellow cast, trying to not kill the warm light.

I love your portrait orientation shots, especially the first 2. They are both very nice, well composed, well-balanced pictures. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Gordon. I like the portrait format for many landscape scenes. Too many people often forget that the camera can work that way too.

I really like the second shot! The dried leaves on the path contrast nicely will the live green ones, thus clearly outlining the trail. Nice work!!!
Thanks, Brenton. You're welcome for a walk there anytime.

Beautiful shots. Is Luxembourg still the littlest country? I notice there are only two rocks and two cows...
Well, Luxembourg is not the smallest country (there are at least 17 smaller countries, maybe even more), but, yes, it is quite small. What's more, pictures 1, 3 and 4 were actually taken a few miles over the border in Belgium... I live less than 2 miles from Belgium and France.

Great series. Thoughtful and well-processed images, each with inviting and intimate subjects. A great introduction to fall.
Thanks, Bart!
