p.1 #1 · Washington-Grand(St. Louis Street candid)
I managed to sneak a couple of quick candids while I was shooting an e-session last week. So please forgive the bad composition and exposure.
I didn't get the name of this man. But the whole time he was there, he was talking to himself. I stepped a little closer so I could hear what he was saying. And then I could hear him whispering and mumbling in the same constant cadence to himself, "do you have any change...can I have some change." He never held his hand out, he never looked up to any of the passer-bys. And no one ever gave him any change.

I prefer candids where there is either some movement or some activity occurring. If the subject is still, I like for him to have an interesting face, body language, or at least some clothing that stands out. These aren't doing a lot for me, sorry.

Now that you say that, I wonder how number two would have looked with some oof passerby's. Maybe just 2 walking opposite directions.
Initially I kind of like him being alone there and ignoring me given how close I was when I took that pic. But you got me thinking which is a good thing.
