Going through the huge number of unprocessed files I found these I would post first. All shot with 40D + Sigma 150 f/2.8 + MT-24EX(I think)

crab(ish) spider is super. #1 and 2 are my fave. I wish I had pics like that on my hard drive waiting to be processed.

Wonderful crab spider shots- not so mad on the others but the fly does look like an interesting Tachinid.

These are really nice...I esp. like frame #2 and the flower abstract.

I've been thinking of getting new glass for next season and I've really been wanting an MPE 65mm, but now I'm thinking the siggy 150 may be a nice change. I'm thinking the siggy 150mm would give better bokeh than the canon 100mm at the same aperture at 1:1 right?

Yes, the 150 will have greater working distance for a given magnification and allow better subject isolation and faster defocus outside the DOF. After seeing your work I think you'd get good results from coke bottles

Thanks John. The only pictures of crab spiders I've seen have had pointy bits on their abdomen, so I wasn't sure.
