Here's a panorama shot taken during the Singapore's Firework Festival 08. Its an annual event, now into its 5th year, held in conjunction with the country's birthday celebration. Countries are invited to showcase their pyrotechnics on this festival and the photo here shows the fireworks from France. To the left of the photo, you can see the Esplanade theater house alongside with the several hotels and shopping malls follow by the newly constructed world largest Ferris wheel, aka, Singapore Flyer. There are also lots of cranes on the right of the photo and that is the construction site for the up coming Integrated Resorts (Malls + Casino). Lastly, you can spot the iconic landmark of Singapore, and that is none other than the Merlion.
