I used to have 5 rating dots under each image. Now They are gone. I can add stars with the label option but where have the dots gone.
Note this is on an XP(sp2) with CS3,
I only have 5 dots on a selected image. None if unselected. In preferences, I only see settings for labels, no check off for ratings.
Try resetting preferences if all else fails.
Perhaps the dots do not appear if the image has no corresponding .XMP file to hold a rating. Try looking at a different folder in which you have image files with their sidecar files.
