Upload & Sell: On
p.1 #1 · Adobe Lightroom 2

Hi everyone
I'm working on 300 CR2 photos in AL2.
Lightroom works pretty well, only for one thing: it takes so much time to "load the image"!
Not on every single image but probably 1 out of 2.
I think I'm gonna go crazy...

Is there a way to avoid the loading thing, or is just regular stuff I have to deal with?

Any advices and comments would be much appreciated.

If I am understanding what you are asking ... when you import your photos into lightroom try building high resolution previews. It takes longer to complete the import, but should speed up your work on the images. Give it a try.

You can render them after import as well: Library, Previews, Render 1:1

Loading is when you switch to Develop mode and it renders the file from the actual raw data. I don't think you can speed that up.

You can work with the sliders on the photo as soon as they are free.
