The lighting was harsh at times as the sun popped in and out of the summer storm clouds. I tried to convey that in this image with the storm passing behind the ruins. C&C welcome.

Thanks, Tim. This was my third visit to the ruins. I was excited about the drama that the skies presented. One of the problems I have run into while trying to photograph these structures is that they blend into their surroundings very well. Unless there is some sort of contrast, it is hard to make the pueblo stand out. Especially the Wupatki pueblo (pictured here) because it sits down in a small depression.
