Which one you Guys prefer and why ? (personal experience, pics, might helps a lot too).
I think I like both because they dont look bulky, but I dont think I'd buy both - (expensive), thats why I need more help to decide.
And if any of you know the difference between first generation and current BODA bag, please chime in. (I just know BODA and TT recently).
I think the only one thread thats is very helpful to me is from mauriceramirez because he has both, but I want to hear more from others too...
I absolutely love the Boda Dry (big one). I liek to have all the htings I need with me - from batteries, extra flash, to whatever have you. I work with a 2-3 lens system and 2 bodies.
If you have ever looked inside the boda bag, you'll understand the layout: One body stays deep inside the bag as backup, one body and lens around my neck, one lens in the top compartment above the 2nd body, and one large lens in the long compartment, one lens on camera. Water bottle, business cards, almost all my accessories, spare flash, 2 PW, cell phone, and keys - I can manage to fit all this in. It gets a bit heavy, but still works well.
sorry to hijack your thread hsw, but does anyone know if boda sells at any retailers or solely through their website?
the only reason i haven't pulled the trigger and bought one is that i would love to see it/feel it/wear it, but don't know anyone locally who owns one!
a buddy of mine and I both got a boda last week. i have yet to use it on a job but my friend is quite happy with it. he says that it works as advertised although it does get a little heavy.
in addition to using it on job, i am thinking about using it as my day to day bag when i bring my camera around as well as for travel. i managed to fit my 5D w/o grip, 24-105, and 85L and flash in the main compartment. there is still room for a small prime. there are more than enough compartments for your stuff ie, keys, batteries....the strap is comfortable, and it feels well made. the people at boda are nice to deal with.
