Nicely composed and as Maclorcher says - dramatic. Nice leading lines point to the subject. There are different ways to make a subject stand out from the background. Here, the 'panning with a low shutter speed' method is shown effectively. With the man blurred, the subject becomes the child.
To save everyone from looking it up - 1/13th, f5.6 at 24 mm, ISO 200. Canon 400D. Well done, Jonatan.
