Ok so this isn't really my first post once again, but first time posting an image of mine up on to the forums and this is also my first attempt at a landscape shot . First posted this over in the photo critique section but it doesn't seem its too lively over there so id thought id dip my toes in over here (original post - https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/646974). Any comments and constructive criticism is appreciated as I'm new in the world of DSLR photography, taking in all the advice I can get!
Must admit im feeling very intimidated posting this photo amongst all these other wonderful images, just don't think I make the cut lol :P But I guess I've got to start somewhere,
Cheers
Mike

Taken on the Swan River shore front in Perth at a ridiculous time in the morning I'm in no way used to, Canon 40D, Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 - f/32, 2 second exposure at 19mm.
Lovely soft light scene, Mike. I like it a lot. The surface of the water is beautifully done.
There appears to be a clone tool artifact(?) at the water line, right-center that needs cleaning up.
I'd be tepmted to darken the sky and water, a little bit, leaving the lovely light on the trees.
Barry - Thanks for your comments, the surface of the river when I arrived was breathtaking, I think it was enough for me to decide that I will drag myself out of bed before the sun rises more often hehe. Ill have a go at darkening the water and sky and ill post an update soon. Also the artifact that you mentioned I honestly really don't have a clue what has caused that lol, Ive only done minor cloning and just on the right side eliminating a large light source. The strange thing is it appears on almost all of my photos under the exact same tree Honestly have no clue what caused it.
Sharon - Thank you was struggling a bit to begin with trying to find a good composition being my first "proper" shoot, but hopefully I'll get used to it soon enough.
