I've been swamped with goldfinches in my backyard for the last several weeks. I noticed a couple of rose breasted grosbeaks appeared the past couple of days but I couldn't get any shots of them until this evening...not the best of light as it was getting late but I took what I could get...

taken with 1DMK3 + 500f/4 + 1.4 TC...

"Swamped with goldfinches " sounds like a very nice problem to have. Number 1 is my favourite. Nicely done.

I had Lesser Goldfinches during the winter. Now all gone..... I miss them.
