michael kilner Offline Image Upload: Off p.1 #1 · cardboard flash tube I am not having much luck recently,I have just got my mpe back from Canon after waiting for 3 weeks and now my 430ex flash has bust and is also on it way back to Canon.Im hoping they will repair it under warranty as it broke exactly a year to the day when I bought it.Not wanting to wait 3 weeks without taking photos I have made a ridiculous tube out of birthday cards just to play around with,here are some shots with it ,the first being a shot of the contraption itself. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Could do the same thing (aluminum and milk jug plastic) to a paper towel cardboard tube. Cut the end of the that's toward the subject at a 45 degree angle...
