I know this has been done before but hey its been over 6 months since anyone has posted on any of the rechargeable batteries threads.
So what's new and what has changed since then?
Are the Eneloops still the best. Has someone came out with something better since then.
I see MAHA has some new stuff out so does Nexcell. But how are the other brands and have those brands held up?
Please don't say Duracell or Energizer. Their rechargeable batteries suck. The best set of AA rechargeable that I have ever owned are the Lenmar 2500's. The Rayovac I-C3 were a close 2nd.
Those purple batteries are bad ass. I would by 20 more of them if I knew nothing has beaten them yet.
Its time to buy 4 sets of 4 for me and really need to find the best.
king is relative
longevity while in your bag and being ready to use without having to be right next to a charger?
or just raw power just off the charger?
I want some I can charge up and know a month later if I need them they will work, even if I didn't know I would need them that day or had no way to charge them the day before.
I also want a few sets of good solid workhorse batteries that I can charge up a day or 2 before hand for the gigs I have scheduled. I have days where I'll pop 1000 flashes a day for 3 days in a row.
If I can find a happy medium that would be fine too. Or 1 battery that did it all. Oh hell I must still be asleep.
