I posted this in sports as well... but i am looking for as much help as i can get...
I am still fairly new with photography and mainly do action shots for newspapers and school... however our neighbor is on the board of directors for the school districts baseball program, and is looking for a new photographer for this season. It would be for grades K-12 and all together about 700 students. I would LOVE to take this on, however I have no idea where to even start... the main thing im clueless on is how to do the ordering and printing for 700kids, also havent done alot of posing . Can anyone PLEASE help - whether its a personal experiance or if you know of any websites, I will take any help from anyone!! Thanks for your time!!
I was hired by a dance studio and for ordering and printing I used a company called "Printroom". They did a great job and it was very easy. Upload pics, set the price, get the word and they do the rest.

If you are going to do this and make any money, have the parents pay up front. If you want them to go to a web site you may be lucky to get 10% to order. Do up a package with extra add ons, do a sample of what they are going to get so they can see what they are ordering and then go for it. Grades K through 6 or 7 will be good sales, the older kids, sales drop off quickly because the parents get burned out of ordering for every sport and every season.
