p.1 #1 · Help pricing out a job.

Hello I posted the message below in the misc section and someone suggested I post it here, so if the mods want to delete my other post that would be fine.

Anyways if someone can help me out, either with personal advice or perhaps just pointing me to another website/forum that would better aid me in my problem.

" Hey guys(and gals), recently a friend of mine told me that he was going to give my name to a local landscaper who was interested in someone photographing his work. But wanted to know what I would charge for the images(the buyer would take the rights of the image) and I am more of a hobbiest photographer so I have no clue on how to go about pricing it out.

My friend suggested that I give a base price(he suggested $100) for showing up and taking a small set of pictures, if the buyer wishes to have a more in depth set of photographs I would charge accordingly...

Any suggestions/insight?"

Thanks,
Steve
