Hi, I've read the pros and cons of bludomain so I don't need any advice on going with them (or not).

My question is about the specific template 'Sadie'.

Does it come with a 4 link splash page, or any splash page for that matter?

Should be listed on their 400+ site list. Detailed explanions are enclosed there as well. Above all else, you were smart by posting here instead of email the company directly as they are woefully understaffed.

Good stuff though. I've got 2 sites with em, hosted elsewhere (for those understaffed reasons) and enjoy the compliments I receive weekly.

Sadie's a $100.00 site with dual portal for $200.00. The write up about Sadie doesn't mention a splash page at all. All the other pages mention a 4 link splash page.

I have it... I know there is a splash page (but I dont use it) Let me do some looking and see if I can figure out how many links it can have

btw if you want to check out mine, it is the straight sadie without anything special done to it (like changing the fonts, putting in a logo, etc.)

Nice Swim,

How did you put the tranparencies behind some of the text? Just do the whole thing in photoshop and then put the image in blu?

I just went and checked out some splash pages that were on the 'clients' list from blu. It looks like all of the splash pages can have up to 4 links.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a splash page crucial for search engines? You need the splash page to add key words and such.

I could be wrong, but thats what I thought the purpose was.

Just so you know... if you know HTML or know someone who does you can change your "Splash page" to anything you'd like.

You just have to do it manually and cannot use the built in tools for the splash page as it won't override what you've done off site.

My splash page is custom and works better.

I know HTML and even a bit of flash. I have my home grown flash site now. It looks OK, but I can never get an integrated look because doing a gallery that looks good is a HUGE job. Sprites take forever. Mine will never looks as good as blu's no matter what I do.

I'll be able to add meta tags and be able to customize the blu splash page. Thanks for all your help!
