Below is a pano I shot the other day (sunday evening) was going down to see if I could capture the city with all the fall foliage in the background and between the buildings....
Well....I had a supprise in for me that day......never dreamed I would be in time to whitness the sunset of a lifetime....I am glad I listened to my instincts......
Kinda looks like the first few nanoseconds of a nuclear blast.....
Great job w/ the blend indeed and super detail. Living in pdx for 6 months they dont really get super sunsets too often it seems. This is pretty spectacular. Go sell it to the city!

aF - I did a very mild blend....it was all from the same shot. Cant seel it to the City....I already work for the City and we have a rule of not being able to make money off the city as an employee. But I recently started shooting for the city AS an employee. I get paid to play in the City Parks for a few days, and the city gets some nice images. Kind of a pay it forward. They were ready to pay me a legit fee, till I found the ruling about the city employees portion mentioned above. But in short....this will probably become a great seller for me. I cant wait to see it printed huge and backlit. :~)
Portland BlAzE 2008 .... awesome. thats one helofa killer sunset there. The picture is so crisp, great exposure and hey awesome fall colors too (if you could brighten up just the trees to add some pop it would be even better, thye look a bit dull they alomost blend into the buildings behind them, just my thought ...)
