In the first one you can clearly see that you have used a ND grad on the mountains, they get darker the higher up you. This type of shots will usually benefit from exposure blending and not ND grads. It is hard to achieve good results with a ND grad when the horizon is so far from "level". The second one also has the most pleasing composition to me. But, I can see your shadow in the bottom right part of the image. Try some non-destructive dodging to get rid of it. Roger Mar 27, 2008 at 07:44 PM

Todd Offline Image Upload: Off Sogn og Fjordane in Flam (Help me choose one) *2 Photos* Well for me I like the first one because it has some foreground to help lead your eye into the scene. The density from the filter can be seen in the upper left of the photo which does affect the image in a negative way (only slightly though). #1 is just more comfortable for me to look at; I don't feel cramped like I do with the second one. I do like the comp better in the 1st. Not as centered and well zoomed to bring us closer to the bg mountains. I would suggest cropping most of the gravel beach, to more of a pano format.
