Thanks everyone for looking and commenting. It was taken at night and the wing was howling. Im not sure why the night sky was brown but maybe the color given by the street lights and the spot lights shining on the flag.

You certainly capture "wind" and I was expecting a flag shot among the entries. Well done! I suspect that the brown comes from your camera's White Balance not being set to the type of light that was illuminating the flag.

Great capture, with an excellent display of ‘wind’ action, not only with the flag but with the
dramatic background that makes me shivers just looking at it!
I like the single bright star in the flag…

That flag is really moving in the wind. The snow and or sleet almost looks like star trails. Well done!
