I only had a wristwatch...
Does size matter...

Nice shot and I'm glad someone else went down this route and I wasn't just blowing in the wind.

Thanks Adam. I think quality trumps size any day!

We haven't had much wind blowing around here lately.

I decided I would create some wind by taking the dog out for a spin and maybe she would hang her head out the car window for me. My dog would not cooperate, so we tried my friend John's dog, too. No luck, maybe it was too cold.

This idea came to me during a power-nap while I was restlessly trying to come up with another angle on the assignment.

Well, I’m glad it did stop and inspired you to go in a totally different direction from yesterday’s dogs photo shoot.
This is an excellent picture Louis; I love the exquisite detail, the tight composition and warm colors…

Great take Louis, my first thought when I saw the assignment was that I could shoot my school clock and everyone else will be shooting windy subjects...I should never underestimate the ingenuity of WA participants and shoot when the idea strikes me! Again well done!

Thanks John. Sometimes you have to take a nap and figure things out.

Thanks for your comments, Tom. I've shot the breeze a lot in my time, but shooting the wind was certainly difficult!

Thanks Chad. This entry may or may not fly, depending on what Mr. Miranda had in mind. Thanks for taking a look.

Wonderful, Louis! i never even thought the topic could be "wind" as opposed to "wind" until I saw this. Great work!

All the best,

Endre

Thanks Endre.

John helped me with an idea Saturday morning, but we could not get our dogs to cooperate for that classic "dog with head out car window" shot. We tried my golden retriever and all she wanted to do was lay in the back seat. John's rotty was a little more cooperative, but he still didn't want much to do with his head out the window.

To use an American football term, I had to "drop back and punt".

I appreciate your comments as always.

Louis

Wonderful color and angle of shot. I really like the "antique" details on the face of the clock. That with the warm color, and of course the key, really makes this image!
