I'm looking for some guidance on numbers in PS or Lightroom that produce pleasing skin tones, I'm not talking about skin smoothing just obtaining pleasing tonal transitions.
If the white balance is correct to begin with, you're good.
If it isn't, use LAB and curves to adjust. I never set "numbers" because everyone' skin is different and will also look different depending on the light. I don't believe there's a magic solution for skin tones. If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone else will educate us.
