I see something that I want to buy and I want to know what are the steps I take (sorry complete noob about buying from forums)
1. I PM the seller.. then what happens? if we agree on the transaction he/she spends me a bill through.. lets say paypal? or something? sorry again.. complete newbie..
Yes, PM the seller (unless he specifically asks to be contacted by e-mail; some will do both). Ask any questions that you may have, request pictures, etc., but be aware that should the buyer receive a firm offer to buy from someone else while you are "shopping" you may likely miss out. You can check the members selling history here at FM by doing a search using this format: their username, in message body, buy/sell forum. I suggest that you do this. Depending on the sellers preference, the transaction can be paid through paypal, google checkout, USPS money order, certified check........ Don't be surprised if they ask you to pickup paypal's fee (regardless of what paypal's user agreement may say about that). Regarding paypal, they don't have to send you a bill (though they can). All you need is their account ID and you can send them your payment. I've done plenty deals here and have had no major problems. Good luck!
