I think the interplay between the land and sea is great. It appears that you captured the moment during the golden hour of the day. I like everything about the photo with one exception. It appears that at some point (I'm guessing during post) the sky has become posterized. There are JPG artifacts that stand out from a smooth flow of tones in the sky. I'm just pointing this out because you have a really nice capture, if rectified, I think it would make a big improvement. This is coming from someone that also has a shot in this month.
Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Bob, you are right...it occured during JPEG conversion (a file format whose size is it's only redeaming factor...) I have some other PP clean up to do, too....one of the days I'll cycle back to it....
