p.1 #1 · #275- American Power

Well this is my first attempt at this. I Hope you all like it. The Aircraft is a Curtiss C-46 Commando owned by the Commemorative Air Force Southern California Wing, which i am a member of, the vehicle is a 1971 Ford Torino.

Hi Alejandro,

Welcome to the WA. I like the notion of power as obsession that this shot provokes, but also the sense of nostalgia as well. The sense of power on the wane that wants to reassert itself as if in a better time. Very interesting shot and a wonderful first entry. Good luck this week,

I was going to try to photoshop it for a more nastalgic look, but i decided not to, because i felt that it looked great as it is. Ive got more images of the same nature. Thats what i usually do, Aviation and Automotive photography.
