When I first saw it, I thought it was a great program. I bought it and used it for a while, mainly business portraits for real estate agents, etc. Like many things, I now find I can get better results just doing it in photoshop, with the liquify tool and skin smoothing.

Yes. PP8 is more comprehensive (although they forgot to allow you to drag and drop images into it

Additionally I hate the new interface with a very dark background.

Do not be misled by the fact it can achieve facial re-structuring as you can turn this off - the skin treatment works well as well.
