I went at the wrong time of day. The light was behind all the structures but this will have to do for me. This old home is amongst the skyscrapers and smaller office buildings. Its the last home standing,
Great idea!
I really like the angle you used for this shot, you can feel the sky scraper towering over the house. This reminds me of first seeing a 1600's era cemetary among the high rises in downtown Boston. A perfect WA entry.

Howard, I love all the blues! Like Nick, I think your perspective for this one is excellent...really gives the viewer an idea of what standing in front of the house feels like...surrounded by giants. Super job, my friend!

This is beautiful! What a powerful shot and perfect for being Out of Place! Possibly crop to leave out the brown under the house (just above it so still showing the white roof). This would bring out the overall blue lighting in the image even more and not be distracted by the brown! Nice job!
Love this entry! (and like the crop the way it is!)
I do believe it would be improved by increasing both the yellows and the reds (in your Color Balance.) This would warm it up a bit and, more importantly, create more contrast color-wise between the house and the surrounding buildings
Also suggest increasing the darks some (In Levels.)
