Well, the race season is winding down, but that doesn't mean that the racing action is getting any less heated. The ALMS event at Laguna Seca Raceway was no exception! Just a few photos from the weekend... enjoy!

It has been fun! One more event this year, NHRA Finals at Pomona, then it's time for a break... oh wait, winter testing should be starting soon!

Thank you. I was actually really excited to go through my shots after the race... I did a lot of tight stuff, and got quite a few really cool shots (I love the tight stuff myself).

Todd, you certainly know how to cover a Laguna Seca event!!
Your tight angles always bring the viewer into the excitement of the race in a way that being in the stands or watching at home on the tele will never match

Wonderful as always Todd. I like the tight ones best too. Of the wide shots, I like the ones like 2 without the crowds or tents best. The last one is cool, motion and the wall.

These are great! I never realized the Embassy Suites was that prevalent from
the track (I'm guessing that's the place in the bg of #4).

Nice stuff Todd. I like the tight stuff, but I really like 2, 3, and 4 because they make me want to be there. Thanks for the look.

Very good ! Excellent comps and technical quality, #2 being my favorite. Taillights and the sky have almost exactly the same hue !

Todd I love the tight shots...I need to start saving my pennies for some longer glass. the 70-200 with the 1.4x can only reach so far.

There are several locations at Laguna (inside turn 3 under the tire bridge and inside turn 4 by the lagoon) where you don't need much more than 200mm for tight shots. But, I'm not going to lie... I LOVE my 500... and if JT wasn't around I'd never take it off my camera.
