p.1 #1 · Photosite going out of business

I am currently a member of Photosite web site, they are going out of business and I need a web site I can transfer my pictures to and also transfer my domain name. They are offering a deal with snapfish but you can not use your domain name with snapfish. Any help on a web site that I can move my photos to and my domain name would be nice. I have to many business cards out there with my web address and I need to keep things flowing.
Thanks

Have you considered pbase, photobucket or smugmug?

If you want to do it yourself, you might try one of the providers listed at http://gallery.menalto.com/wiki/Web_Hosting_Referral_Page

The professional level at Smugmug allows you to use your own domain name. But you can always redirect your domain name if you wanted to use a site like Snapfish (as long as there is a URL specific for your photos).

If you want to sell photos, look at PhotoReflect, Printroom, Exposure Manager, and SportsShooter has some sponsors you can check out. SmugMug Pro is terrible...stay away from it...you want to shooting, not fooling with your website...that comes from over a year's worth of personal experience...

I don't want to sell my photos on line, I will take care of that myself. I just need a web site I can display my pictures using my own address, www.jhurndon.com
Thanks

Ahhh, well, I'm not a good resource for you then...I just looked for ones that also offer sales engines

You could try the Q&A tool on SportsShooter as you are member...that should get some good suggestions as many members there do as you.

I don't happen to agree with the SM opinion...after over a year's of personal experience. After I got the site set up, I have not needed to fool with it at all.
